Introduction:

Today we’ll go through how to put together a wallpaper with the theme of flying. Finding good stock images and composing an image that has a theme gives the audience a clear message , this of course is what graphic design is all about visual communication. The techniques you will learn range from masking to smart objects.

Once again here is another decade’s film posters, this time the 1960′s. What is truly awe inspiring about these posters is they are all originally drawn and painted by hand, no Illustrator or Photoshop here. Tomorrow there will  be a tutorial and next week we’ll continue this movie poster series.

As promised here is another selection of awesome movie posters. This time from the 1970’s.

Design feedback is what a lot of us are looking for. This is good; an objective view definitely makes you look at your designs more truthfully. If it either needs improvements or has hit the nail on the head we designers love to know where we stand.

Movie poster art is everywhere. It is designed to leave a mark in the 2-3 seconds you see them on the subway escalator, walking down the road and driving round.
