These packaging designs are a great source of inspiration. This is a showcase of the most creative and cutting-edge designs from the world of packaging. Package design is a very important design element due to its direct relationship with the environment and therefore climate. A recent calculation estimated that if Coca Cola didn’t use paint on their cans in just one year they would save around 24 billion cans worth of paint.

This is an excellent example of how innovative and forward thinking package design can literally help save our planet, which is always a very good thing. Other ideas include doubling the usage of a product, for example the dumbbell packaging that is originally a drinks bottle.

Although most of these incorporate recyclable materials and are environmentally conscious designs some of them are purely aesthetically pleasing and great for design inspiration. Please retweet this and remember to subscribe via RSS
