T shirts are and an amazing away to get your designs exposed online, as well as to an offline non design audience. T shirts are like posters that people wear, and posters are a designers dream because they allow so much creative freedom. Apart from using less colours as possible to keep costs down T shirts have a massive amount of freedom and control for the designer.

Here are some amazing T shirt facts .

- Today, ninety-one percent of Americans profess to owning a “favorite” T-shirt.

- Sixty-two percent claim to own more than ten t-shirts (that alone is 1.5 billion T’s!  Line them up, and they’d circle the globe 34 times!)

- Thirty-four percent say white is the color of their favorite T-shirt, nearly doubling the votes received by the second and third choices: blue and black, respectively.

- Overall 70 percent of men and 54 percent of women have more than 10 t-shirts.

- Of the younger crowd (18-24 years old) 79 percent have more than 10 t-shirts.

- 19 percent of that younger group owns more than 30 t-shirts.

- Results were tallied from a survey sponsored by Jerzees Activewear(a division of the Russell Corporation) and conducted by Opinion Research Corporation International, which posed t-shirt questions to 1009 adults.
