Continuing on our theme of movie posters from each decade here are a selection of posters form the 50’s. In the early 1950s Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning were enormously influential. Pop Art used the iconography of television, photography, comics, cinema and advertising.

Once again here is another decade’s film posters, this time the 1960′s. What is truly awe inspiring about these posters is they are all originally drawn and painted by hand, no Illustrator or Photoshop here. Tomorrow there will  be a tutorial and next week we’ll continue this movie poster series.
